Food Safety training is a vital component for any food business.  If training is to be effective then it must be planned and not instituted as a knee jerk reaction when there is a problem.  recently at a seminar of the Food Safety Professionals Association Dr Patrick Wall (guest speaker and former head of the Food Safety Authority of Ireland ) said "food outbreaks don't just happen, they are as a result of bad management"
